Concrete raising is highly effective in residential, commercial, or municipal situations. Absolute lifts sidewalks, streets, ramps, patios, driveways, foundations, parking lots, garage floors, and basements - almost anything that is concrete.
Concrete raising is a cost-effective alternative to replacing concrete. Mudjacking can usually be done for up to 75% less than pouring new concrete, however, the savings may be even greater since the costs of demolition, removal, and landscaping are eliminated.
Most projects can be completed quickly and economically with minimal disruption. Absolute raised a patio in the morning and the owner had a graduation party on it that night. Landscaping, access, or activities are rarely effected if at all.

What is Concrete Leveling and Raising?
Concrete Raising is a generic term that describes a variety of methods to raise sunken concrete back to it's original level.
Concrete Raising has been a common repair method for many decades, primarily in the mid-west region of the U.S.
The concept is very simple, but should only be attempted by seasoned professionals as it requires very subtle nuances to get it to work just right. A grout-type or material (often top soil, sand/clay or grout) is pumped under the slab through small holes. The material fills any void and then lifts the slab back into position. The holes are patched with cement and the surface is ready to use.
Projects are priced either by square foot, or priced by how much material is going to be used. Prices vary by geography and usually range from about $2.50 to $6.50 per square foot.
The type of material used to lift the surface will vary from project to project. The most common is simple grout. Absolute Concrete uses various proprietary blends of aggregates, cement, lime and water to achieve the results necessary to offer our exclusive limited lifetime warranty (see warranty for specifics).

- A pattern of 1" to 2" holes are drilled throughout the sunken slab.
- Our Proprietary ACR grout, is pumped under the slab. Once any void is filled, the grout becomes pressurized and hydraulically raises the slab to the desired height.
- The holes are then patched with cement.

Void filling is the processes of displacing empty spaces under concrete surfaces with a material that is more durable than the previous material. There are many different types of material that can be used depending on the requirements of the application. Your Restoration Technician will recommend the product best suited for your needs.
Our Estimate will typically be based on the estimated amount of material needed to fill the void. To obtain an accurate quote, the contractor will need to know the approximate depth of the void to calculate the amount of material required.

Absolute Concrete uses only environmentally safe, earth-based mixtures that have no “polyurethane” chemicals that could harm the environment. Ask your representative for a Materials Data & Specification Sheet and compare the properties of ACR Products to any alternative. ACR products are harder, set faster and are more durable than other materials.
